Flying Lotus will be releasing Until The Quiet Comes, the long-awaited follow-up to 2010's Cosmogramma on October 2 on Warp Records. Composed, according to the rapper, as "a collage of mystical states, dreams, sleep and lullabies", the new album has the distinct feel of a nighttime voyage. The sound is an unhinged, yet elegant evolution of the melodic and rhythmic interplay that is Flying Lotus' trademark. The album features guests including Erykah Badu, Laura Darlington, Niki Randa, Thundercat & Radiohead’s Thom Yorke.

To support the album, Lotus will embark on an extensive tour, hitting cities across North America, UK and Europe. More shows around the globe will be announced soon. FlyLo's recordings and live performances are the center of a musical web that stretches far from his Los Angeles home – whether it's The Weeknd, Earl Sweatshirt of Odd Future fame or even tennis star Venus Williams joining him on-stage at various shows this year, or FlyLo spending some studio time with up and comer SchoolBoy Q.  Below are Flying Lotus’ scheduled tour dates:

Daniel Kohn

Ever since he first heard the opening chords to "Smells Like Teen Spirit," at the age of 11, Daniel Kohn has been hooked on music. Born in New York City, raised in the music hotbed of Long Island and currently residing in Los Angeles, Kohn has been writing since high school, when he realized he could get CDs for free. He's a sucker for '90s music, especially that from Seattle. Like a small minority of Americans, he likes football of the European variety, especially Liverpool. When he's not chasing down bands, you can find him at your local pub with a pint of Carlsberg, usually at ungodly hours cheering on his beloved Reds.
