It’s almost May—the flowers are in bloom and spring has officially sprung—and what better way to celebrate the sun than with a Tuesday night residency at Central SAPC featuring the sparkling, synth-heavy sounds of DWNTWN?

The Los Angeles-based dream pop trio has set up shop in the intimate Santa Monica venue for the month of April, and BestNewBands.com is excited to announce that we will be co-presenting the show on April 30 (the last night of a residency is always the most fun, right?). Still riding on the coattails of a successful trip to Austin for SXSW, Jamie Leffler, Robert Cepeda and Jerrod Bettis have been impressing audiences with their charismatic live performances and bright, melodic tunes. Leffler seductively twists and twirls as she sings in a breathy, angelic timbre, while Cepeda and Bettis create glimmering electronic beats, guitar riffs and drum rhythms behind her. Needless to say, a DWNTWN show is something special, and we’re more than excited to be a part of this residency.
