Los Angeles - Royal Blood, the Brighton-based duo of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher, return to the U.S. this weekend. The drum and bass bandmates are embarking on a massive tour of the U.S. that will include the band’s debut performance at Coachella the following two weekends. Starting this Monday, April 13, the band will launch a headlining series of dates, including a sold-out show at The Fonda Theater in Los Angeles, followed by seven more sold-out headlining dates. Thatcher and Kerr will also appear at the Bonnaroo and Governors Ball festivals this summer, in addition to their highly publicized and anticipated run of shows opening for the Foo Fighters during 16 tour dates.

Just recently having won NME Awards for both ‘Best Live Band’ and ‘Best New Band,’ as well as a BRIT Award for ‘Best British Group’, Royal Blood have been touring all over the world during the past year, gaining fans everywhere they perform in promotion of their eponymous debut album (released August 25, 2014 via Warner Bros. Records). The breakout record debuted at the top spot on the UK Album Chart. Not long after, the self-titled album was nominated for the esteemed Mercury Prize and has since sold more than 500,000 copies internationally and been streamed more than 35 million times on Spotify alone.
Royal Blood will also be returning to U.S. television when they perform their current single, “Figure It Out,” on Conan this Thursday, April 16 at 11:00PM / 10:00PM CST* on TBS.
