So SXSW has officially kicked off- with mass amounts of music starting for all my fellow music fiends and friends alike. You pretty much know it’s SXSW music’s second day because most people are still thriving on redbull and out and about. Another indicative factor of SXSW is the lack of public transportation anywhere and everywhere. I’m talking shuttles that are supposed to run every twenty minutes are now running about an hour and half behind. Two desperate girls in hot pursuit of good music decided to pedicab it to 6th street. Due to the traffic they got slightly delayed and in an effort to GPS their way to said destination the driver further delayed them by getting stuck between a rock and my van, aka- the hard place. No passengers were injured in the making of this festival however, and everyone of us way too eager to get down music kids arrived safely to the audio experience of the year.
Fast forward to twenty minutes and later and every random pedestrian on the the street was experiencing a full on eargasm trying to take in the sights and sounds 6th street had to offer. Because we enjoyed select songs we’re giving them to you below as today’s daily SOTM’s (songs of the moment) because after all, sharing is caring.
