There’s a cold front headed our way here in the U.K. and the midsummer storm is all about a weekend of ample music, fresh artists, and will most certainly give you something to talk about this coming back to school season. The Big Chill is officially the fest bringing you icy hot artists to detract from the relentless summer sun- who needs SPF when you’ve got music therapy anyway?
Among the ranks of amazingly entertaining artists are Here We Go Magic, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, (although after their Coachella set I may avert my ears to stages set elsewhere…) Chemical Brothers will be rocking eavryone out to the soundtrack of their new CD, and Jamie Woon will be serenading Sunday fest goers with his subtly entrancing tunes.
Currently The Featured Artist On My Big Chill Playlist- Jamie Woon
All in all you can’t go wrong and since all you U.K. kids can’t take the heat (neither can I- can I get a little air conditioning action here? When did I move into a 24/7 sauna?!) get out of the city and GPS yourselves straight to Herefordshire.
For those of you in need of something a little heavier try Hevy fest in Kent and come watch the rocktastic debauchery unfold with me! Bestnewbands.com will be keeping you updated on the latest and greatest with both so keep cyberstalking us, or follow @LaurenNovik on twitter! So much music, so little time.
