It is safe to say that Frank Ocean is the man of the moment. In the midst of creeping into stardom, selling out shows during a nationwide tour, and gearing up to release his debut LP, the 24-year-old R&B singer took to his Tumblr blog last week and wrote an open letter revealing that the man who ladies swooned over, he fell in love with a man in 2007.
Many public figures reached out to show their support to the singer’s brave choice of revealing his true sexuality, including fellow Odd Future member Tyler, The Creator. With this incredible weight lifted from his shoulders, Ocean can focus on the big events to come—the much anticipated release of his debut, Channel Orange on July 17, and hitting the road on a national tour starting July 13, and last night, the crooner performed two songs on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

The New Orleans-based artist recently released the upcoming album’s first single, “Pyramids.” Despite all the hype surrounding his sexuality, the one thing that can’t be discounted is the man’s talent. Performing at some of the biggest festivals in the country has made him a household name. As with his mixtapes, the track features Ocean’s silky smooth vocals atop groovy production. Listen to the nearly 10-minute song here and check out tour dates below.
