I know the ültra-hip are breaking bad on Vampire Weekend because they’ve turned up in so many places, but I take comfort in knowing that they’re wrong to do so because Vampire Weekend is still plenty good. I like stripped down versions of any act, and this version of “White Sky” is especially nice. Too bad their show on the 12th in LA is sold out, because I imagine that would be a night of aural festivities to remember.
