New York – Queens-based rapper, Action Bronson, (who has been highlighted as a rapper of note by Best New Bands in the past) has finally released his immensely anticipated, major label, full-length album debut, Mr. Wonderful! The record is now available for fans worldwide.
In honor of the record’s release, Bronson put out a music video for the new single “Baby Blue,” which was released in conjunction with the YouTube Music Awards. The new single also features Chance the Rapper. The video plays out showing Bronson in a batch of situations, acting out a handful of characters and everything concluding with a performance in a luxurious social hall along with Chance the Rapper. Hip-hop peer, Big Body Bes, appears throughout the video, eventually joining in Bronson’s band and de facto baby blue suits. The music video was directed by Lil Chris.
Fans can look forward to watching the track getting a live performance on Letterman this Wednesday, March 25.
Taking down the completion of a massive SXSW calendar last week, Action Bronson’s appearances during the festival led to attention from a variety of fans, media and other music industry cohorts. Now that SXSW is done, this new week is slated to be even more hectic, in the best ways possible, for the NY native artist.
A sold-out Terminal 5 show for tomorrow, March 24, will slide into the newly announced and sold-out show the next day (3/25). That same morning, at 11:00AM EST, Bronson will also be responding to inquiries from the public by way of a Reddit “Ask Me Anything” session and then lastly, stopping at Brooklyn’s Rough Trade NYC for an in-store performance. (Those who purchase the rapper’s new CD get a ticket for entry to the store’s show on Friday, March 28.)
