Bear’s Den’s album, Islands, continues to receive widespread critical acclaim. Islands was produced by regular collaborator, Ian Grimble (Travis, Daughter, Manic Street Preachers) and includes tracks off the band’s 2013 EP Agape (ag-ah’-pay), as well as new, never-before recorded songs. The video for “Agape” is streaming worldwide at . In addition, the band was recently nominated for a 2015 Ivor Novello Award for “Best Song Musically and Lyrically,” alongside notable acts Ben Howard and Hozier.

Andrew Davie (vocals, guitar), Joey Haynes (vocals, banjo) and Jones make up Bear’s Den. The London-based trio played music in various incarnations before officially forming the band in 2012. They developed a cult following in their short existence as a result of their writing, harmonies, D.I.Y. approach with custom hand-stamped CDs and extensive worldwide touring. It was only after finding their identity on the road that the band focused their attention on studio recordings.
