New York – Today, Nate Ruess, the frontman of fun. and GRAMMY® Award-winning recording artist, has released a new single titled “AhHa,” from his highly anticipated debut solo record, Grand Romantic. “AhHa” comes following the momentum of the multi-format hit single, “Nothing Without Love,” which is presently within the top 15 on Billboard’s “Hot Rock Songs” chart. In addition, the first single’s accompanying video, which was directed by Anthony Mandler (fun., Rihanna, Taylor Swift) has accrued an excess of more than 3.6 million cumulative online views and is frequently on rotation with VH1. (The network also named Ruess a “You Oughta Know” artist for the month of May.)
Known around the globe as the singer/songwriter of indie pop supergroup fun., Ruess will be supporting the release of “Grand Romantic” through a number of major concert events.
Highlights include: headline performances around Europe, as well as New York City’s Webster Hall on June 17, 2015 and Los Angeles’ brand new Teragram Ballroom on June 24, 2015. Ruess is also booked for top-billed appearances at festivals that include: Minneapolis’s Basilica Block Party (July 10), Denver’s 93.3 KTCL’s Big Gig (July 11), Philadelphia’s Radio 104.5 WRFF Summer Block Party Series (July 12), and San Francisco’s Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival (August 9).

Beyond festival and venue stages, Ruess will be visiting NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 12, 2015 for a performance that will have him backed by The Roots.
Rounding out the month on May 30, HBO will be airing the “2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony,” (filmed earlier this month) where Ruess joined Beck in a performance of Lou Reed’s song, “Satellite of Love.” These additional appearances follow Ruess’s recent recruitment as a “key advisor” on NBC’s The Voice, as well as a performance on the iHeartRadio Music Awards with a live TV debut of “Nothing Without Love.”
As if that wasn’t enough good news, Ruess will also be honored with the prestigious “Hal David Starlight Award,” established by the Songwriter Hall of Fame to honor exceptional songwriters who are making a noteworthy impact within the music industry via their original compositions. The 2015 Songwriters Hall of Fame Annual Induction and Awards Dinner will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015 in New York City.
