Los Angeles – Chicago five-piece The Orwells are excited to announce a tour with The Arctic Monkeys beginning in January of next year. The band recently finished a tour with their friends in FIDLAR that took them around the country, including an especially wild show at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom. The band also revealed that they will head back to the UK, where they recently performed on Later With Jools Holland, for a string of headline dates. See all tour dates below.
The Orwells have had a busy 2013 so far. They released the Other Voices EP earlier this summer, followed by their Who Needs You EP. The title track, “Who Needs You,” is the second single produced by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek, who previous had worked on the first single “Other Voices”. Most recently, they dropped their current UK single, the Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Bombay Bicycle Club) produced song ”Dirty Sheets.”
