Tonight is the second installment of Robbers on High Street’s residency at Brooklyn Bowl, and its as good a time as any to check out this band that sounds straight out of the 60’s British invasion scene. Robbers on High Street play extremely catching songs that sound like a blend of The Kinks and Spoon. Entry is free before 7pm, and only $5 after that. The show starts at 8pm with Brothers and The Twees as opener

Robbers on High Street are Brooklyn Based, and are getting ready to release their third album, Hey There Golden Hair. Among the tracks on this latest LP is “Electric Eye,” a single released last year on a 7”. This track wasn’t on my radar until recently, but it’s managed to wedge its way into my head for the time being.

Robbers on High Street are bound to make you move your feet a little, if not a lot. Doors are at 6pm for the free entry deal, and the show is 21+.
