Los Angeles – Chad Valley, aka Hugo Manuel (of Oxford, UK’s Jonquil) has announced a fall tour with Cascine labelmates Keep Shelly In Athens. In anticipation of his upcoming tour, Manuel debuted a free download ‘Real Time’ and will be releasing a mixtape entitled ‘Peace and Understanding’ to coincide with the first date of the tour on Oct. 9th.
At the end of last year,he released his acclaimed full-length debut, Young Hunger, featuring collaborations with Twin Shadow, Glasser, El Perro Del Mar, Active Child and more. This is his third proper run Stateside after a string of headline dates earlier this year including two sold-out nights in New York, and his earlier outing with Active Child. Aside from working on new material over the Summer he’s remained a prolific remixer with recent rerubs for Foals, Ghost Beach, Bell X1 and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.
