New York - Four piece rock band, Dawes, performed in the Ed Sullivan Theater at David Letterman’s request, this past Wednesday, April 22, to play their song, “Things Happen.” This is the first track from the quartet’s highly anticipated, upcoming full-length record titled, All Your Favorite Bands (out via HUB Records, June 2, 2015).
As a special gift to Letterman, as the departing host, Dawes also played a moving rendition of the classic song by Warren Zevon, “Desperados Under The Eaves,” immediately after the taping. That performance will be available as Web exclusive content next week. Their appearance adds to an already storied run for Dawes with Late Show With David Letterman, having performed on the show a several times over the course of their four-record career.
Check out the performance of “Things Happen” below!
