Los Angeles – Glasgow two-piece Honeyblood have premiered the eye-catching video for lead single “Super Rat,” along with the release of their critically acclaimed debut album.
The video, directed by Camille Bennett, sees the duo “exploding romantic tropes” according to the director, creating a stylish and memorable accompaniment to the air-punching anthem of seismic proportions. Following a slew of gushing reviews for their eponymous debut album, the band will return to the US for another run of shows at the end of the month.
With escalating acclaim across Europe and the US, the duo toured recently with close comrade Courtney Barnett on her recent sell-out tour, alongside stints with both Real Estate and Angel Olsen.
Honeyblood‘s self-titled record was recorded at legendary producer Peter Katis’ Tarquin Studios (The National, Interpol) in ten days last November. Honeyblood is an accomplished and delightfully fierce record.
