Jamestown Revival Announce New LP & Tour

Jamestown Revival - Best New Bands

New York – Critically acclaimed Austin, TX indie-Americana band Jamestown Revival – Jonathan Clay and Zach Chance – announce the release date for their anxiously awaited second full-length album, The Education of A Wandering Man [Republic Records], available on October 7th. Starting today the album is available for pre-order at all digital retailers. Get it HERE.

The pre-order includes instant grat downloads of the recently released first single “Love Is A Burden” and now “Back To Austin.” Written on Jonathan’s front porch, the acoustic “Back To Austin” serves as an homage to the musicians’ hometown and catalyzed the process behind the group’s second album.

About the album, the band comments, “The Education of A Wandering Man chronicles the four years since we wrote UTAH. It’s the next chapter. ‘California’ opened up doors for us that always seemed infinitely far away, and the memories we made playing our music around the country are memories that we’re lucky to have. In the spirit of Jamestown Revival, we once again decided to forego the traditional studio for a makeshift location. This time around, it was a farmhouse in the Austin, TX Hill Country. The songs on this album are nothing more than a group of friends playing music in a living room. While we hope they are reminiscent of what people enjoyed about the first go-round, we also hope they take people somewhere new.”
