London Grammar Announce North American Tour Dates

New York – Since releasing their critically acclaimed album “If You Wait,” U.K. trio London Grammar have announced that they will return to North America for their third headlining tour in support of their hugely successful debut release. The tour will kick off on November 7 in Washington DC, and will include stops in New York, Boston and Toronto before wrapping up in Oakland on November 29. Tickets for the tour go on-sale Friday, July 11th (see full list of tour dates below). In addition, the band will make a pit stop at Chicago’s Lollapalooza Festival, performing on Sunday, August 3 on the Lake Shore Stage at 3PM.

In other news, London Grammar will be featured in VH1 + Palladia’s “Soundclash” series. Hosted by Diplo and produced by Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson, the new music series will bring together diverse acts to perform a mix of current hits, catalog favorites, covers and once-in-a-lifetime collaborations in front of a live studio audience. The series’ inaugural episode will feature London Grammar alongside Grammy Award winning, platinum-selling rapper T.I. and Grammy Award nominated, three-time VMA winner Fall Out Boy. The show airs on Wednesday, July 23 at 9PM ET/PT on VH1 and Palladia.

“Strong” – the band’s current single from “If You Wait” – was recently featured in promos for CBS’ new series “Reckless,” and also earned the band an Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. Additionally, London Grammar performed the song on three late night television shows this spring, making impressive appearances on CBS’ The Late Show with David Letterman, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! and NBC’s former Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Check out their performance of “Sights” from Glastonbury below.

In addition to their many achievements in the U.S. – including several sold-out tours, a recent sold-out show at LA’s Wiltern Theatre and multiple stints opening for Coldplay, London Grammar has seen great success internationally. “If You Wait” is approaching sales of nearly one million units worldwide, and is certified Platinum in the U.K. Australia, and France, and Gold in Belgium and Switzerland. Off the heels of an amazing performance at Glastonbury, the BRIT Award nominated band will continue to tour internationally throughout the summer, making stops at major festivals including Montreux Jazz Festival, T in the Park and Splendour in the Grass before heading back to North America.
