
Now, Now and Trans- Records are giving fans a chance to take a few of their new songs home with them ahead of schedule with today’s release of the Dead Oaks digital EP. Available on iTunes, the 3 song EP includes “Dead Oaks,” and “School Friends” from their forthcoming sophomore album Threads (3/6, Trans-Records), as well as the album b-side “Shifting.” The Minneapolis based trio have also announced additional spring tour dates including gigs with The Naked And Famous in Los Angeles and New York as well as a few headlining shows in early April. Now, Now, is composed of Cacie Dalager (Vocals, Guitar), Jess Abbott (Vocals, Guitar), and Brad Hale (Drums, Synth). This past June they recorded their new album Threads with producer Howard Redekopp (Tegan and Sara, New Pornographers, An Horse) in Vancouver, BC. It was earlier in the spring of 2011 that Now, Now began to solidify a relationship with Trans- Records founder and Death Cab For Cutie guitarist/producer Chris Walla. Threads will be released by Trans- Records on March 6th 2012.
