Run The Jewels Announce ‘JEWEL Runner’ Tour Dates

Run The Jewels

New York – The hip-hop super duo, Run The Jewels (El-P and Killer Mike) has announced their Jewel Runner Fall U.S. tour. Tickets for the tour are available HERE via special pre-sale promotion with Songkick and Spotify. The group will be touring in continued support of RTJ2, their breakout sophomore album on Mass Appeal Records. (Check out our review of Run The Jewels live.) RTJ2 is one of the most celebrated releases of the past year; receiving Album of the Year honors from Pitchfork, Stereogum and more.

The announcement lands among a flurry of critically lauded performances: a sold out show at The Forum in London on June 6, 2015 and an impressive slate of festival appearances this summer, including Northside, Bonnaroo, Pitchfork, Primavera, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Reading, Leeds, FYF and more. Main support for the tour will be rising star and Grammy Award-winning producer, BOOTS, who has previously collaborated with Run The Jewels, Beyonce, and Autolux, amongst others. Additional support to be announced soon.

Meanwhile accolades continue pouring in for the group –they were recently named among Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business. Extensive features on the band have been run in Newsweek, The Guardian and BUST, as well as and a cover story in the inaugural issue of FLOOD Magazine. Additionally, Killer Mike was recently a guest at The White House Correspondents Dinner, appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher, and on Snoop Dogg’s weekly show, GGN.

The ever-expanding universe of Run the Jewels also recently added a third Run The Jewels inspired Marvel Comics cover; this time for Deadpool’s Secret Wars. Their song “Blockbuster Night Pt. 1″ was also featured on the season premier of HBO’s hit show Silicon Valley.

Not content with merely performing in front of an ever-growing fan-base, the duo have been hard at work on new material for their forthcoming full length, RTJ3, as well as the highly anticipated feline-themed remix album Meow The Jewels, a bevy of hi-profile collaborations, and some soon-to-be-announced special partnerships
