New York – Today San Fermin and Sam Amidon released “Shiver,” their collaboration “that was conceived in the midst of their winter 2015 tour,” via NPR Music. The song will be released digitally on April 8, 2016. Brooklyn-based San Fermin, now an eight-piece touring band – comprised of founder Ellis Ludwig-Leone (keyboard), Allen Tate (vocals), Charlene Kaye (vocals), Rebekah Durham (vocals/violin), John Brandon (trumpet), Stephen Chen (saxophone), Tyler McDiarmid (guitar), and Michael Hanf (drums) - started out in 2012 as the make-shift project by composer and songwriter Ellis Ludwig-Leonethat. Since then, San Fermin has developed into a magical baroque pop group, bringing dreams to life.
Sam Amidon comes from a musical family, with folk music at the root of it all. The thirty-four year old singer-songwriter is both a masterful banjo and fiddle player. Together Sam Amidon and San Fermin have created a jazzy folk-pop tune, that’s sure to have you tapping your feet and feeling the beat.
