The Grizzled Mighty have announced the title and release date for their eagerly awaited EP, Thick Hand Gun will be self released on Tuesday, February 5th. Thick Hand Gun finds the Seattle duo, singer and guitarist Ryan Granger and drummer Whitney Petty, testing the temperature threashold from a hot year in 2012. Recorded at the ever-so-famous London Bridge Studios in North Seattle, stomping grounds of Death Cab For Cutie, Fleet Foxes and Soundgarden, the EP is a heavy mix of wild and capacious, while staying true to their gritty, organic 2011 LP.
