Twin Peaks Share Spotify Session, Announce Made In America

Twin Peaks
Chicago – Last Friday, Spotify shared a blistering new session in their “Spotify Sessions” series, brought to you by the lads of Twin Peaks. Recorded at the end of SXSW this past March by the wonderful Jim Eno (Spoon), the collection shows a band firing on all cylinders. The three-song set, featuringWild Onion standouts “Making Breakfast” and “Strawberry Smoothie,” as well as Sunken crowd favorite “Boomers,” is available  to stream now and is a must listen for fans (or frankly, anyone on either side of the fence; it should settle any debates as to whether Twin Peaks are worth your attention).

Furthermore, the band was just announced for Jay-Z’s Philadelphia-based festival Made In America, where they’ll join bands like Tanlines, Bully, Hippo Campus and more on the TIDAL Stage. This is the latest festival to join the slew they’ve been invited to play this year, including Sasquatch, 4Knots, Firefly, Forecastle, Burgerama, and the upcoming Lollapalooza and Outside Lands fests. Stereogum said of their recent performance at Firefly, “Some acts buzzed louder. Some acts entertained harder. But Twin Peaks were just plain better.”Finally, it may seem that Wild Onion [Grand Jury] just came out, but Twin Peaks simply have a motor that won’t let them rest. They’ve begun work on new music and will continue to do so throughout the summer. Catch them on one of their upcoming dates (which includes a massive tour with Wavves), and you might just find yourself hearing a brand new song.
