New York – The Lone Bellow is currently on a successful, nationwide, headlining tour and has recently partnered with UnArmed Media to capture candid footage around their packed homecoming show at Celebrate Brooklyn in Prospect Park this past summer. The intimate mini-documentary launched on Esquire.com and features the band’s current single, “Green Eyes And A Heart Of Gold.”
When The Lone Bellow was released earlier this year, our reviewer wrote: “the collection is rooted in a Southern unbringing, a gospel-folk sensibility and a tragic past. Layers of banjo and mandolin are perfectly centered around electric guitar, bass and heavy drum beats to create an atmospheric quality that sets the tone.” If you’re not familiar with the “Brooklyn Country” band (Zach Williams on guitar and lead vocals, Kanene Pipkin on mandolin and vocals, and Brian Elmquist on guitar and vocals), check them out as they are worthy of your attention.
For a limited time, The Lone Bellow is offering its self-titled, debut album on Descendant Records for only $5 on Amazon.
