For music fans whole also love winter sports, SnowGlobe Music Festival in Lake Tahoe, CA is the perfect thing. Taking place December 29-31, 2011, SnowGlobe will take place over three days and will feature three stages with more than 45 of some of the most fun indie musicians performing – all against the backdrop of Lake Tahoe’s snowy mountains. The festival promoters also get extra clever points for endeavoring to “bring your average festival experience to new heights.”
Since the festival is outside, you’ll need to dress warmly whether you decide to actually hit the slopes or not, but with a lineup of artists like Thievery Corporation, Childish Gambino (pictured above), YACHT, Theophilus London, GIVERS, and The Glitch Mob, there should definitely be some heat created. There are worse ways to spend New Year’s Eve.
