Yellow Dogs have truly underground roots. This Brooklyn-based by way of Iran band got started playing illegal basement shows in Tehran, knowing that they could be caught and arrested or flogged at any time. Now they’ve set up shop in NYC where they can play venues galore, but they still play with fervor and sing about freedom, dreams, and American consumerism. Tonight their headlining show at Glasslands is totally legal, but it will still be fun.
