Another Planet Entertainment, the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department, Superfly and Starr Hill have announced the packed lineup for the 8th annual Outside Lands Festival. The “gourmet music festival” will be held again in San Francisco’s historic Golden Gate Park, from August 7-9, 2015.

While the festival’s “Eager Beaver” pass sale already had the fastest sell-out in the festival’s history, a limited amount of 3-Day General Admission and VIP regular passes will be available for purchase starting this Thursday, March 26 at 10am PDT. Those looking to attend can find the passes at SFOutsideLands.com

A notable percentage of each ticket sale will be converted to a direct benefit for San Francisco’s Recreation and Park Department. Collectively, The Outside Lands has converted funds in excess of $10 million dollars to the department since its founding. An economic study from 2011 estimates that the festival accrues and contributes more than $70 million dollars annually to the San Francisco economy.

Keeping with the high expectations of The Outside Lands Festivals of the past, this year’s installment has brought together a truly diverse conglomeration of artists. Attending acts span long-established greats like D’Angelo and Elton John, to hit bands of the present, like Sam Smith, Mumford & Sons, The Black Keys, and Kendrick Lamar.

There’s no shortage of fresh indie talent either, with the likes of Tame Impala, George Ezra and Mac DeMarco on the bill. There will also be plenty of performances from heavily buzzed about up-and-comers like Shakey Graves, James Bay, Sky Ferreria and Benjamin Booker, among a slew of others, across many styles. A full text list of the currently confirmed lineup is below.

Outside Lands has established itself as a leader of the hybrid food-music movement since its humble 2008 beginnings. Every year, producers up the ante of the festival’s culinary menu. Festival goers can now anticipate six unique experiences, each of which thoroughly embrace the diverse gastronomical culture of Northern California. The experiences are referenced by themes that include: A Taste of the Bay Area, Wine Lands, Beer Lands, Choco Lands, Cheese Lands and the addition from last year, GastroMagic –a programmed stage centered around thrilling culinary entertainment. The lineup for this element of the festival will be announced in the coming months.
