alt-J Announce New Album “This Is All Yours” out Sept 22

Los Angeles – alt-J today announce the release of their second album, This Is All Yours, the follow-up to their million-selling Mercury Prize-winning debut record, An Awesome Wave.

This Is All Yours is available to pre-order immediately; the album will be released on September 22via Canvasback / Infectious Music in CD, digital and double-vinyl editions.

Starting today, fans who pre-order This Is All Yours via www.altjband.com will receive a code to buy tickets for the U.S. and European tours ahead of anyone else. U.S. tour pre-sale will start 10am local time on Wednesday, June 11 and end 10pm on Thursday, June 12. General on-sale follows 10am local time on Friday, June 13. alt-J are Joe Newman [guitar/vocals], Gus Unger-Hamilton [keyboards] and Thom Green [drums], whose debut album An Awesome Wave received widespread critical acclaim after its release in 2012. The New York Times called the band’s sound “a handsome alloy of dry acoustic timbre and reverberant effect, suggesting a very British convergence of texture-minded electronic music and psychedelic folk.” The album won the Mercury Music Prize in November 2012, was nominated for 3 Brit Awards , and reached NPR‘s Album of the Year, iTunes Alternative Breakthrough Album of the Year and numerous top 10 lists. It has now sold over one million copies world-wide and has been streamed more than 200 million times on Spotify.
