New York – The three piece electronic group that is Mansionair, has just hit a noteworthy break in their band’s career. The New York City based record label, Glassnote Entertainment Group, home to highly acclaimed artists that include the likes of: CHVRCHES, Mumford & Sons and Madisen Ward and the Mama Bear, among many notable others, (the latter of whom just announced a new single and tour dates yesterday), has signed the trio from Sydney and is now going to be behind the group as they prepare for a slew of shows. Appearances at SXSW, along with a handful of other cities are now on Masionair’s upcoming agenda.
Mansionair is Alex, Lachlan and Jack. Though their musical stylings might not have completely flooded beyond Australian shores just yet, that is likely to change once the band has gotten into a groove with Glassnote, who are working with them in connection with the Americas the UK and Europe. Collectively the three gentlemen are quite elated to be part of Glassnote’s roster and are expressing much enthused optimism going forward:
“We’re really excited to be joining the Glassnote family. We couldn’t imagine a better team to be involved with. We’ve been such big fans of their roster for a long time and can’t wait to get started.”
If the dedicated pavement pounding that Mansionair have done around Australia is any sign of things to come with Mansionair’s tour and plans beyond, growth is all but an absolute certainty. Not long ago, the trio completed a sold-out tour that took them around the better part of Australia and the band has speedily become an act of significant public intrigue and interest. A lot of the propulsion is momentum arose following the release of the single, “Hold Me Down,” which has accumulated more than 8.5 million views on YouTube and was a highly favored track in the ranks of the HypeMachine charts, eventually claiming at the fervently sought after top slot.
