Alt-folk artisans OF MONSTERS AND MEN have set April 3, 2012 as the release date for their debut album, My Head is an Animal via Universal Republic Records.
My Head is an Animal follows up their debut Into the Woods EP, which garnered unanimous critical acclaim. Production on the new record was handled by the band as well as Aron Arnaarsson, and Jacquire King [Kings of Leon, Modest Mouse, Cold War Kids], while Craig Silvey [Florence + the Machine, Arcade Fire] handled mixing.
To celebrate its release the band has announced their first U.S tour, kicking off in Austin at SXSW (Full schedule below)
