The Preatures Announce North American Tour Dates

Australian rockers, The Preatures, (who were a Best New Bands recommended act to see at last year’s ACL Fest,) are getting ready for a big spring tour across the U.S.!

The Sydney-based band is keeping the heat turned up in support of their critically acclaimed debut album Blue Planet Eyes, which was released last fall. The tour will kick off at notable Rough Trade NYC in Brooklyn and will take the band to the midwest, through the south and then finish on the west coast in San Diego.

The album’s breakthrough single, “Is This How You Feel,” has gained and retained a place of lasting favor with U.S. airplay since the new-wave debut was released via Harvest Records.

The Preatures are a five-piece band, fronted by Isabella ‘Izzi’ Manfredi on vocals and keys, with Gideon Bensen on guitar and vocals, Jack Moffitt playing lead guitar, Thomas Champion on the bass and Luke Davison at the drums. The quintet have transformed their reputation from that of “Sydney’s worst-kept secret” to “Australia’s freshest music export.” Last year alone, the band has had spots on stages at the Glastonbury Festival, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and even an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! Show. All these opportunities came about as a result of the overwhelmingly positive response from critics and fans worldwide.
