New York – Next month, on May 8, 2015, synth-pop pair, Purity Ring, will depart on a headlining U.S. tour, beginning with an intimate concert at The Fonda in Los Angeles, CA –the tickets for which sold-out in record time. Purity Ring’s popularity is undeniable, as two other shows on the band’s agenda are also nearly sold-out (double performances at New York City’s Terminal 5).
Despite being very busy with a European tour that has taken Purity Ring to (sold-out) shows at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire, Oslo’s Parkteatret and Brighton’s Concorde 2, Purity Ring have also disclosed that they will be headlining at the iconic Roundhouse later in the year on October 29, 2015.
Purity Ring are Megan James and Corin Roddick. The duo hails from Canada and their latest release, Another Eternity, (March 2015) went quite well-received upon release. Roddick and James have kept very busy with touring in support of the record but have just released two remixes of their latest single “bodyache” by friends Empress Of and Born Gold (opening for Purity Ring during the North American Tour).
