Following up highly successful stints on the road in the U.S. with Kings of Leon, Young The Giant and Alice In Chains and in Europe with OneRepublic, this is the platinum-selling quartet’s very first country-wide headline run of the United States.  The Lunatic Tour begins on January 29 in Dallas and goes through March 13 in Los Angeles.

Kongos’ breakthrough hit, “Come With Me Now,” from their Epic Records’ album, Lunatic, solidified them as one of rock ‘n’ roll’s most exciting new acts.  The single soared to #1 at Alternative Radio and stayed there for five weeks, marking the quickest ascent to the top by a new band in history.  Best New Bands named Kongos one of 2014’s Breakthrough Artists of the year.

Best New Bands interviewed all four Kongos brothers this summer.  About what guided their musical influences, Jesse told us: “We grew up listening to so many different kinds of music. Probably because our dad was really into all kinds of stuff, you know, African music, opera music, classic rock, everything.
