Tonight I’ll be live blogging Mini Mansions‘ performance at The Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles. Last week I had the pleasure of reviewing their sophomore eponymous album (for the full BnB exclusive, click here) and I can’t seem to get their songs out of my head. If the album (now available on iTunes) is any indication of the group’s live performance, then we are in for a real treat this evening. Tune in via Twitter and follow us @BestNewBandscom. I’ll be tweeting as much of the show’s events as possible to keep Mini Mansions fans unable to attend the show clued into what’s going on. Consider it a live virtual review, and please feel free to tweet at us directly if you’re at the show as well! Tickets are still available here, and the cost is $8 (or $10.34 with tax and fees). They will also be available at the door, but if you’re thinking about coming I would get tickets now in case they sell out. The event is 21 and older, and doors open at 10:00pm. Mini Mansions will begin at 11:00pm after The Damn Sons and before headliners American Royalty. If you live in Los Angeles and have never been to the The Bootleg, I highly recomend it. It’s a 1930′s era warehouse that’s been converted into a space for music, dance, theater, and film; it’s one of those amazing spots in Los Angeles that allows appreciators of the arts an up close and personal view of whomever is performing. The Bootleg is located at 2220 Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles. For more information on the venue, please visit their website here.
