The Ruse is Jim Bilus (guitar), John Dauer (vocals), Jason Young (drums), and Mark Stolze (bass). They have been touring nationally for two years and have independently released two records. In early 2006 they released their sophomore record “Light In Motion” to rave reviews.

After having played over 90 shows throughout the US in support of “Light In Motion”, the band is currently in the studio with producer Jorge Vivo working on the next record.
