Carnival Music newcomer, Brent Cobb, is well on his way to becoming one of country music’s hottest male acts. Through his unique music video series — “The Fireside Sessions” — Cobb is introducing music lovers to his sound and style through intimate performances, you guessed it, around a campfire. The new performance is part of an exclusive series through popular country news website, Country Music Is Love.
For The Fireside Sessions, Cobb finds himself working along side director Reid Long at dusk on a farm just outside of Nashville, TN, to capture the Georgia pickin’ parties that earmarked his upbringing.
The latest installment features Cobb and his band belting out a raw rendition of “Forever Afterall,” which the singer co-wrote along with the help of Jason Saenz. “I was first inspired to write this song about Providence canyon, a canyon a few counties over from my hometown in Georgia where my friends and I used to hang out,” the singer explains.
Cobb has already made a name for himself in Nashville for his songwriting talents. In the past, Cobb has had tunes recorded by the likes of Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, David Nail, Kellie Pickler and the Eli Young Band. Cobb’s debut into the country music scene came with the release of his first single “Love On Me.” The song is already at country radio, and the singer’s self-titled six-song EP (produced by Matthew Miller and Oran Thornton) is garnering him fans coast to coast. The EP is available for purchase through iTunes.
