London - METZ, who, not long ago, rocked hard at California’s TBD Fest, have just released a new single titled, “Spit You Out.” This new track comes off the band’s powerful sophomore album, II (due out May 4, 2015 via Sub Pop Records).
Alongside the release of new music, METZ’s 2015 North American and European tour in support of II has just been modified to include more dates and will begin next week on April 15 in Buffalo, NY at Mohawk Place. The tour will continue into summer up until August 11 with a performance in Denver, CO at Larimer Lounge. A full list of show information with dates is below.
Fans can also watch METZ’s well received performance of the song “Nervous System,” which is also off of II, from Mexico City’s NRMAL Festival. Check that out here:
METZ will be releasing II, the follow up to their critically acclaimed, eponymous debut (2012), on CD, vinyl and digital formats, which will all be available starting May 4. In addition to the new single, “Spit You Out,” II will feature the highlighted track,“Acetate” and “The Swimmer.” METZ’s new album was recorded at several studios throughout Ontario, Canada and was produced and mixed by the band with support from returning engineer, Graham Walsh.
