It has been an amazing week for Now, Now and their sophomore record Threads, released last Tuesday March 6th on Trans- Records. Threads landed as the #4 Most Added record on the CMJ charts last week, and debuted on the FMQB Albums Chart at #3 this week.

Leading up to their appearance at SXSW 2012, the band were touted on NPR‘s “Weekend All Things Considered” as one of four bands to watch at the festival, and Paste Magazinealso gave them a nod as one of their “20 Must See Bands at SXSW.” Today their song “Dead Oaks” is NPR‘s “Song Of The Day” and they’ve glowingly described it “a marvel of economy and concision,” that “never wastes a precious breath.
