You might have heard of RAC, the DJ out of Portland, Oregon. Chances are, however, that Andres Allen Anjos, the 27-year old Portuguese national is something of an enigma to you. He is a remix machine having worked on tracks by Lana Del Rey, Peter, Bjorn and John, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Death Cab For Cutie, Foster the People, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Penguin Prison amongst others.
Now, though, he has outdone himself. Collaborating with the aforementioned Penguin Prison, he has created his first original track. “Hollywood” is a radio friendly track that is stylish, funky and ready for mass consumption. I was introduced to it by Live 105 DJ Aaron Axelsen and I haven’t been able to stop listening since I first heard it. Listen for yourself and download here so you too can be smitten.
