ZHU Announces U.S. Headlining Tour, Premieres “In The Morning” Video

New York – GRAMMY nominated producer ZHU revealed his ‘Neon City’ debut U.S. headlining tour for this spring, full list of dates below. On his SoundCloud, a recorded prank call with an unsuspecting ticket scalping fan was released, and the phantom artist drove fans to his website NeonCityTour.com. The week-long countdown hit zero and revealed the 18-city tour of the artist that The New York Times dubbed “one of the most musically sophisticated of the current generation of dance music producers.” He will be touring with fellow Mind of a Genius act Gallant.The tour promises brand new production for the genre-defying celebration of the arts. Set to a complimentary feature-length film, ZHU combines electronic sounds with live instrumentation into a captivating and unique experience. Weaving dance party vibes with world class performances alongside esteemed musicians, ZHU builds on the “coherent and racy energy that should make him a favorite at festivals” according to the LA Times. Building the futuristic Neon City stages adds another dimension to the sonic and visual production.This morning ZHU premiered “In The Morning” for the first time during Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show on Apple Music. Lowe previously declared 2016 to be a big year for the artist. The song’s official video is out now - all DSPs will follow at midnight tonight HERE.

This is ZHU’s first original production of 2016, and first since his critically acclaimed Genesis Series just last October. The Genesis Series is available for download and stream worldwide, and has received critical praise from the likes of Rolling Stone Magazine, Pitchfork, The FADER, COMPLEX Magazine, Zane Lowe’s Beats1, Radio 1’s Annie Mac and Pete Tong.

ZHU’s current single “Working For It”, featuring Skrillex and THEY., has accumulated over 16 Million worldwide Spotify streams, over 4.5 Million combined VEVO/YouTube video plays and was recently certified GOLD in Australia. “Working For It” is part of ZHU’s Genesis Series, which featured a stellar cast of collaborators including AlunaGeorge, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Daniel Johns, A-Trak, Gallant and many more.
