It’s always a little hectic back in media.  It’s even more than a little hectic when you add camping to the mix.  Lucky for me I found a guy backstage using the computer plugs for his hair straightener.  Since I didn’t want to beat him, I joined him and after the two of us salvaged our once unkempt coiffe I went back to find Autumn In Disguise- who apparently was my flat iron partner in crime.  There’s an intro if I’ve ever heard one.

Still in the process of recovering from Hevy Fest which was essentially three straight days of musical masochism and mayhem.  In between battling intense gale force winds that left only a quarter of the original tents left standing (and had our team taking in two residentially challenged refugees!) I pretty much found myself living at the Redbull Bedroom Jam Stage, which had bands to entertain one and all throughout the weekend!

Notably Autumn In Disguise ended the weekend with a bang after headlining Sunday, and the five piece band hailing from Aberdeen, Scotland successfully set the mood for Four Year Strong playing the Jager stage right beside them.

Taking refuge from the rain, four AID members and myself sat Indian style in the “tentipi” for a pow wow on their craziest Hevy experiences and what’s up next for the band this Fall!

The band may not have made the final three in the Redbull Bedroom Jam competition, but their definitely more than worthy of a little auditory investment!  You can check them out and stay updated on the latest and greatest with the fab five HERE!
