Tonight The London Souls are headlining at Bowery Ballroom, preceded by Gonzo Jones (formerly the Auctioneers), all starting at 9pm. This show is to commemorate the release of The London Souls debut album. This show is going to rock.
I previously covered The London Souls’ live show in March, and was blown away. These guys put on a real rock show, and if their music doesn’t make you move then somebody should check your pulse. Plus, now we can all get our hands on their record! Finally! Of course, nothing compares to having Tash Neal, Kiyoshi Matsuyama, and Chris St. Hillaire blowing your mind right in front of you, but I for one wanted nothing more than to play their songs over and over after seeing them last time. Few contemporary bands embody a true spirit of rock n’ roll like these guys do, and they also add in a good amount of social awareness to show they’re the real deal.
Doors are at 8pm, and it’s a $15 ticket. Support an amazingly talented band, indulge in some classic rock and soul sounds, shake your hair, and let The London Souls bring out your wild and sexy rock n’ roll side tonight.
