A whole slew of new live tracks by hometown classic rock advocates The Henry Clay People are free for download over at HearYa.com, including a gratuitous cover of Jackson Browne’s “Runnin’ On Empty”. If you wonder what they’ve been writing since leaving LA on a national tour, HearYa reports, “The band set up in record time and started tearing through their new material much to our delight.” It looks like they circle back to Southern California by early November, though their MySpace itinerary says they play the Fillmore in San Francisco November 1, followed by the San Diego House of Blues the following night. I hope they’re planning on a huge homecoming after that.
