Los Angeles – After several opening bands took turns pummeling audience members at Jewel’s Catch One last weekend, headliners Naomi Punk put on a dynamic and loud performance. These three gentlemen from Olympia, Washington have been churning out noisy, chaotic noise rock since 2008, producing two full-length albums, 2012’s The Feeling and 2014’s Television Man.
Brooklyn – At the start of the spring Naomi Punk shared the lead single and title track from their forthcoming sophomore album Television Man. The band returns today with another cut from the new album, sharing the second single ”Firehose Face”. The track’s energy is unhurried, but like a pot of water ready to boil, its tightly coiled and at the brink of explosion.
Well, we managed to find enough time to get well rested and ready for the second round of Capitol Hill Block Party after a wholly entertaining kick-off day; the day two party rivaled the first and gave us a wide range of musical tastes from local punk act Naomi Punk to the stardom of Canadian
