Kaleo Announce Live Broadcast For Sirius/XM

Kaleo - Best New Bands

New York – Elektra/Atlantic recording group Kaleo have announced a live broadcast show on August 9th for SiriusXM.  The show, performed live at New York City’s The Box, will air live on SiriusXM’s The Spectrum channel. The private performance is in recognition of SiriusXM’s early and continued support; the band was named one of SiriusXM’s Spectrum Certified artists in January 2015. The concert, an exclusive performance for SiriusXM listeners, will be exclusively open to contest winners.  The show follows a taping of an upcoming episode of public television’s “Front and Center,” scheduled for August 8th at Iridium in New York City.

Kaleo recently scored their fourth top 10 radio hit across three radio formats with “No Good” which reached #10 at Active Rock.  The song followed “Way Down We Go,” currently #3 at Alternative after hitting the top 10 at Triple A, and “All The Pretty Girls,” the band’s first US single, which also rose to the top 10 at Triple A. Hailed as a “gritty, Jack White–esque blues-rock anthem” by Rolling Stone, “No Good” was first featured on “VINYL: MUSIC FROM THE HBO® ORIGINAL SERIES – VOLUME 1,” Atlantic Records’ first soundtrack companion to the blockbuster HBO® series.

Announced earlier this summer, “The Handprint Tour,” Kaleo’s international fall headline tour, has sold out dates in Atlanta, Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, San Francisco and Los Angeles, and has added dates in Philadelphia, New York City, and Los Angeles to accommodate demand.  In Europe, London and Glasgow have sold out, and the tour’s stops in Birmingham and Amsterdam have been upgraded to larger venues.  See itinerary below for full details.

Upon its release in June, Kaleo’s international debut album “A/B” reached the iTunes Store’s top 10 in 19 countries around the world, 12 of which saw the album reach the top 3, including the US and the UK. In addition, “A/B” debuted at #1 on the Canadian iTunes Store’s “Top Albums” ranking and #2 on the Billboard “Canadian Albums” chart.
