New York – Best New Bands is a big fan of Milky Chance, the electro folk act from Germany, whose debut record, Sadnecessary, left contributor Liz Rowley writing an enthusiastic review and also saw them named as one of the bands we’d most like to see this spring touring season.
The new dates contribute to the first portion of Milky Chance’s tour; 39 dates of which have sold out straightaway. The indie pop pair is also confirmed to play at several festivals, including: Coachella, Sasquatch, Osheaga, Outside Lands and the Squamish Valley Music Festival. A list of their new summer dates is included below.
Additionally, they have have booked an appearance on the The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon for this Wednesday, April 1, where they will be playing “Flashed Junk Mind” so this band is not going out of the line of American sight anytime soon.
Check out the video for “Flashed Junk Mind” below!
The series of new shows will launch at the SummerStage in New York City’s Central Park on July 22, continuing onto the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL on July 24 and then the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, CA on August 4 with performance support from X Ambassadors. Walk the Moon will also be sharing the spotlight with Milky Chance, playing the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, CO, on August 6 and then traveling to Marymoor Park Concerts in Seattle, WA, on August 10.
Pre-sale tickets for the new summer tour dates go on sale at 10AM EST, on Tuesday, March 31.
Fans can find them HERE, with public sales opening on Friday, April 3, 2015.
