Sonisphere is fast approaching and the lineup is bursting with stellar acts that have all come together for three jam-packed days of musical mayhem.  Among the list of seasoned musical veterans already mentioned (Mars Volta, Biffy Clyro, Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax) we here at bestnewbands.com decided we’d point you in the right direction of who else to check out- some groups more than worthy of little Sonisphere time you may have!

 

Among the list of we’ve got Anberlin, The Answer, Architects, Don Broco (who I have playing “write” now!) Me vs. Hero, Parkway Drive, The Mars Volta, and While She Sleeps.

The cool thing that’s really getting me amped about Sonisphere is the eclectic mix of hard to ambient, to pop rock they’ve got peppering their lineup.  The difference between this and Indio’s recent “Big 4” event is that it appeals to pretty much any rockaholic out there looking for a little fix!

I’m setting up my playlist now but here’s what I’ve got on heavy rotation for now.  Who else is getting ready for sonisphere?!  I’ll be the girl in rainboots- so, yeah- I’m sure that’ll make it easy to find me!  Check out the latest and greatest Sonisphere-related stuff HERE, and get ready to rock!
