“Everybody Knows” Jeremy Silver Rocked Hotel Cafe

Last night Jeremy Silver rocked the Hotel Café with his CD release show, and the great turn out of fans, friends, and music fiends were not disappointed.  Silver waded his way through every track off his just-dropped “Everybody Knows” and the transitions between the more upbeat to the softer slightly more self-reflective songs was an effortless one.

To get the party started Silver kicked off the night with the upbeat single “Goodnight Gracie” and girls stage-side were even dancing with each other, clear evidence that the track begs for a little leg movement.  As the movers and shakers slowly came to a standstill, the slower songs took hold of the now captivated audience and people got  lost in each tune’s entrancing nature.

Weaving between acoustic and musically accompanied sets, the slight technical difficulties (and let’s face it- what show is ever sans some kind of problem?) seemed almost non-existent as Silver took charge of his show with a fierce command of every song off a CD that meant the world to him to make.

I was a little unnerved when the first band had successfully lulled Hotel inhabitants into a pseudo slumber with their almost too soothing sounds, but Silver was able to breathe life back into the crowd and wake them with a new thirst for something that could successfully get the heart rate back to a more than post mortem level.

All in all it was a great night that ended with a bang care of Silver’s freshly dropped Album.  “Everybody Knows” the swarms of Hotel Café kids needed it!
