Memoryhouse to Play New Songs with Expanded Lineup at Glasslands Tomorrow Night

Memoryhouse

The dreamy lo-fi group Memoryhouse from Ontario is playing Glasslands Friday night, along with High Highs, North Highlands and Wonder Bear, starting at 8:30pm. Memoryhouse is the ambient bedroom project of composer Evan Abeele and photographer Denise Nouvion, but according to their tumblr, they now have a five piece band line-up! Wait, there’s more – they’ll be playing new material! I’m excited, and I will be there. I hope they play this song – “Heirloom” off the Caregiver 7

This show was already recommended by Jesse Diener-Bennett as a show to go see this week, and I have to agree. After giving High Highs a listen, I think they make a great pairing with Memoryhouse for a night of glorious dream-pop. The show starts at 8:30pm, this Friday night at Glasslands. Tickets are $10 in advance, and can be purchased here, or you can get them at the door for $12.  Below is a link to High High’s track “Flowers Bloom.”
