This is shaping up to be one hell of a week for hard rock and metal fans alike- the Revolver Golden Gods Awards took place last night (Wednesday, April 20) and somewhere, hell hath frozen over- because for the first time EVER The Big 4 Fest is coming to the states, specifically, sunny So Cal- and the four will be ready to rock our socks off devil horn style this Saturday, April 23.

Coachella’s long over (as far as the music world is concerned) and in a couple of days Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax will be gracing Indio with their presence! The musical equivalent to the four horsemen of the apocalypse toured for the first time ever last year and performed seven shows across Europe! They’ll be reprising their performance for their very first Stateside show in California- clearly evidence that the West coast is the best coast.

The four may be music veterans, but their performance ability is always on point and if I leave with anything this weekend, it will be significant hearing loss and an insatiable appetite for a double dose of auditory destruction, stat (Sonisphere, I believe we’ll need to have a date this summer!)
