For the last seven years California native Justice Aaron has called Tokyo home, and his time spent abroad has spawned his latest creation: TheMidnight Machine. This project, which the producer describes as a three-part science fiction opera loosely based on his experiences in Japan, will be released in Acts, with the first, aptly titled The Midnight Machine, Act One, having recently been released.

Under the moniker “Metaform,” Aaron produces other worldly electronic tracks that seem to create their own spectacular universes, and today we are proud to premiere, “Midnight Sky,” the third single off The Midnight Machine, Act One. 

Unlike the EP’s first two offerings (“In My Mind (I Will Wait)”, “Letters To The Void”), “Midnight Sky” incorporates more of a vocal focus. Aaron’s ghostly vocals float on top of warbling electronic beats, acting more as its own instrument than comprehensive lyrics. His voice adds yet another layer to the already epic track, creating a sweeping, cinematic soundscape that is bound to send chills creeping down your spine.
